University of Toronto Aerospace Team

SAE Airframe Captain / Chief Engineer

The UTAT SAE Team designs and builds an autonomous electric aircraft, which competes in the international SAE Aero Design (Advanced Class) Competition.

Using a combination of home-grown and industry standard tools and advanced analysis techniques we design, simulate, and build complex, lightweight aircraft. All this while adhering to a tight timeline of 9 months from ideation to competition!

I currently serve as the Airframe Captain/Chief Engineer. I oversee the 3 airframe subteams: Aerodynamics, Flight Dynamics, and Structures, which consist of over 20 active members. I oversee all technical decisions and designs, all while tackling administrative duties, managing our >$20,000 budget, running onboarding and workshops for members, and compiling a knowledgebase for future generations and UTAT members!

Media Portfolio, Webmaster and Graphic Designer

In addition to my role on the SAE Team, I am part of the UTAT Media Portfolio. Our portfolio takes on numerous projects in public-relations and strategic communications, focusing on keeping internal and external parties informed and engaged in all that we have to offer.

I am currently the webmaster, and a senior graphic designer. I oversee all edits and changes to our official website, which sees over 15,000 visitors per year. I also take on various social media projects, collecting over 600,000 views on my content. I also often volunteer my photography skills when I'm not busy doing technical work, contributing to our vast collection of photos and videos.

The Debtless Students

Former Scholarship Mentor (2023 - 2025)

The Debtless Students was a student-run, nationally-registered non-profit organization that provided pro-bono scholarship mentorship to high-school and university students from coast-to-coast-to-coast. Our organization provided an array of services, from financial literacy, to essay-writing, to application planning, we support all students, regardless of socio-economic background.

With a large network of scholarship recipients, the Scholarship Mentorship Team met regularly with students, providing them advice on how to structure applications, frame their work, and achieve success in their academic endeavors.

I proudly served as a member of the Scholarship Mentorship Team, having successfully guided several students to success in their post-secondary education goals and earning $200,000+ in scholarship offers!
